全國中學(xué)生英語閱讀競賽全國總決賽通知

各位老師，
各位同學(xué)：

????第二屆“外教社?卡西歐杯”全國中學(xué)生英語閱讀競賽，經(jīng)過半年多的初賽和復(fù)賽，在全國7大賽區(qū)和官方網(wǎng)站在線答題的參賽選手中，選拔出許多英語水平出眾的學(xué)生。入圍全國總決賽的選手，將于7月10日至12日，在風(fēng)景秀麗的“山城”重慶，代表全國各大賽區(qū)的中學(xué)生一展風(fēng)采。

????總決賽期間，組委會還為大家安排了精彩豐富的活動。我們將在頒獎儀式后，為每位參賽選手提供才藝展示的機會。請各位同學(xué)把自己的文藝特長（演唱、舞蹈、樂器、相聲、朗誦、主持等）報給組委會。

????組委會還為入圍總決賽的選手和光臨現(xiàn)場的老師，邀請到多位英語教學(xué)領(lǐng)域的嘉賓，與大家分享學(xué)生英語學(xué)習(xí)和成長的經(jīng)驗。我們還特別邀請到首屆競賽高中組冠軍俞則璇同學(xué)的父親俞謙銘先生，與大家交流家庭英語教育的心得體會，以及余則璇同學(xué)輕松得到大學(xué)提前錄取資格的心得體會。歡迎各位選手的家長光臨決賽現(xiàn)場！

命題范圍：初中--競賽指定參考書目《新課標(biāo)百科叢書》3、5級
高中--競賽指定參考書目《新課標(biāo)百科叢書》7、9級

【口試環(huán)節(jié)】
分值：占選手個人總成績80%
時間：4分鐘命題演講，1分鐘問答

初中組演講題目：

My Future Life in Ten Years

In the last ten years, computers have moved from business office to the front of everybody’s face, and all of those computers, including the one on your desk, are wired into one big network. During the same time, China changed from a "bicycle kingdom" to world's fastest-growing auto market, and saw a 28% increase of private car ownership alone in 2008.

Your life, absolutely, has been reshaped as you witness the changes around you. But in the next ten years, will you hire a robot as a cook and cleaner for your family, or will you take your private pilotless plane to your office?

Liberate Your Imagination, and describe how your life will be influenced by some seemingly impossible things that will come true in the next ten years. And share the picture with us.

Technology and Our Life

Some people believe that technology is so important to our daily life that we can hardly survive without technological advances such as cars, microwaves, cell phones, and computers. While others think the non-drug addictions of those modern inventions may cause environmental problems, and lead people to be less creative, or even lose their jobs to machines.

How do you weigh the advantages and disadvantages of technology? And what’s your smart tip to balance our life in the post-industrial society??
